Career Fair & Parli Pro

On Wednesday November 10th the Marion FFA Chapter held a career fair at Marion High School. Several colleges attended the event such as Shawnee Community College, Southern Illinois University, University of Illinois, and several others. Students were able to visit the college booths and find out important information. They learned where the school was located, what programs they offered, and even scholarship information.

The career fair was not only a great opportunity for Marion FFA members, but also a great opportunity for the students of Marion High School. Along with a great opportunity, it was also a great success with a very good turnout. Hopefully the Marion FFA Chapter will be able to sponsor such a great event many years to come.

On Thursday December 2nd several of the Marion FFA Chapter members attended the Parliamentary Procedure contest. The team consisted of Katie Baltzell; chairman, Brianna McConnell; secretary, Dustin Kidd, Zack Farner, and Brandon Prichett. The team placed 5th, Brianna received 1st place secretary, and Dustin was 3rd place floor member.
